Appointed in February 2009, was a very experienced goalkeeper who represented England Schoolboys and England Youth and started his career at Bristol City. Played for Bath City where he made a club record 530 appearances, for many seasons. He also played for most of the leading non-league teams in the area including Forest Green, Cheltenham Town, Gloucester City and Weston Super Mare. Had previously managed Hallen F.C. in the Western League and had been Assistant Manager at Taunton Town and Weston Super Mare.

Previous clubs include Bristol City, Bath City, Yeovil Town, Forest Green Rovers and Tiverton Town. Played several times for England's Non-League side, and has now made over 1, 000 senior appearances!

Formerly played for Ramsgate in the Isthmian League Premier Division, where he was a product of their Youth system. He moved to this part of the Country, where he is a tutor at the University of Bath. Edd is a defender or midfield player, and his consistent displays have earned him both “Players Player” and Supporters Player of the Season awards in 2007-08 and again last season. Now in his fourth season at Lodge Road, and is Club Captain.
