Higher number of breaks in matches

The following quote highlights how players respond to repetition: -

“Practice makes permanent what you practice”.

This quote demonstrates the effectiveness of repetition in allowing players to accomplish a high standard of technique. However once an opponent is introduced, technique is put under pressure. Players that are encouraged to make the same decisions in similar situations will learn to play like this permanently. Their creativity will be stifled and they will become predictable, inflexible players. Instead, we aspire to develop a club with excellent problem solvers who can respond to dynamic situations and find a personalised approach rather than a one fits all solution.
