Past Players Minimize

past player Sean Rigg, now playing for League Two side Port Vale

Past players have progressed onto a range of standards of football. Sean Rigg (above) was very sucessful in the development section before progressing through to Bristol Rovers 1st team. After a recent successful spell at Forest Green Rovers, he has signed until the end of the season for
League Two Port Vale.

Other Players who have done well include Joe White and Neikell Plummer who are full time professional Players at Bristol Rovers, whilst Charlie Steward is a youth team player for Shrewsbury Town, who has been a subsuitute for the 1st team in League Two.  A number of players have progressed through to the 1st team such as Lee Bridson, Joe White (again), Aston Newman, Charlie Lacey and Gary Simmons.

Future Support

Many players progress to play to a high level. However not all players can achieve this level and will be looking to progress themselves at various other levels. We offer support on a long term basis to players at Yate Town Development F.C. even when they have left the club. Any player who has played for the club in the past can contact the coaches or Head Coach for advice.

Football is a  very competitive environment. There are many paths for players to take, of which there can be a number of obstacles in the way. If you are a past player would like advice and assistance in helping to progress yourself in the game, please feel free to contact one of the current coaches for advice. They will be keen to help or can pass you onto the appropriate person. See Contact Us
