Yate Town Development F.C. wholeheartedly supports the principles of the F.A. Charter Standard Scheme which aims to set a minimum level of standards for clubs to provide the most suitable environment for children.
Our standards embrace those of the Football Associations and go further be ensuring every child receives a high standard of F.A. Licensed coaching in a friendly and professional environment. Our 'Rules and Agreements' set the highest of standards for players, parents and coaches to provide a suitable environment for children's football.
In our first season in 2005/6, we achieved the F.A. Charter Standard. At the first possible opportunity in 2009 (once the club reached 5 teams) we were awarded the higher level Charter Standard status of 'Development Club' This helps demonstrate our long term strategy for providing a developmental environment for the players at the club.
In 2011 and 2012 our Charter Standard Development Status was renewed successfully.
